Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

This is a place for you to discover the parent you were meant to be, away from the information overload, judgy comments, and conflicting advice given to new moms everywhere.

My name is Heather and I’m here to help you figure out why this feels so hard so that you can overcome the challenges that keep you from connecting with yourself, your baby, and the supportive community that surrounds you. Let’s dive in!

This is for all the moms who feel like they are doing something wrong, this is harder than it should be, and what if it’s just me? The secret is, it’s not. There’s a reason you feel this way, and you are not powerless to change it. In Untangling Motherhood we will explore the cultural forces that brought us to this place, and what we can do to move forward for ourselves and our children. Kindness, understanding, and connection is the name of the game!

The Power of Not Knowing

Certainty is so comforting, isn’t it? We like to know that we are doing the right thing that will lead us to the outcome we want.  If we let it, becoming a parent can be one long lesson in letting go of certainty and finding hidden treasures. We don’t know what they are or where…
